Cutting and slicing

     Cutting and splicing works with the use of editing in order to make the sequence go in the correct and logical way. In the early days it was used on a flat bed. There are now two ways of cutting and splicing scenes together. The first and original way that was used was an editing software known as flat beds which used to film to cut and splice scenes. It was use the frame tape of the films and go over every scene until there is a part that needs to be cut. Also scenes would be spliced by putting the frames together so that it goes in the correct sequence. Now in modern used as an editing software and this is considered easier to use than the flatbed. With avid you can cut and add scenes in a simpler way as you do not have to go through all the scenes. With splicing all you need to do is put two scnens together and click a button to splice the two scenes together.
